St. Luke's Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg for a nursing job in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Overview

In this role, your primary responsibility will be leading project facilitation based on data analysis that includes clinical chart and abstraction review. You will also collaborate with other team members, and partner with other Centers of Excellence, Quality, and Patient Safety, to build relationships across our Health Care System.
This is an excellent position for a clinician looking to expand their knowledge and expertise, as well as affording opportunity to participate and collaborate with other professionals and leaders helping to improve patient outcomes and increasing their own skills.
What You Can Expect:
- Full Time/Exempt Days (Mon - Fri); No weekends or Holidays
- Requires travel to the following St. Luke's Hospitals (Twin Falls, Jerome, and Wood River) and occasionally to (Boise, Meridian, Nampa)
- Coordinates performance improvement initiatives and leads teams in performance improvement activities using PI tools and techniques and applying nursing practice, skills, concepts, and/or methodologies
- Assists staff and leaders with data analysis to identify meaningful performance improvement opportunities, measure performance, and establish measurable performance goals
- Is actively involved in improvement efforts that impact quality and patient safety, particularly those that support system strategic initiatives
- Participates in evaluation and prioritization of projects, and accepts assignments based on organization and department need
Qualifications:
- Education: Accredited program in alignment with clinical licensures listed below
- Experience: Experience in alignment with acceptable license, or performance improvement, project management, or data analysis experience is highly preferred; Proficient in Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Lean Six Sigma Certification and/or CPHQ certification preferred
- Must have a current applicable license in the state of practice in one of the following:
RN, RT, PT or OT license highly preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN)- Respiratory Therapist (RRT, CRT)- Occupational Therapist- Physical Therapist- Speech Language Pathologist- Medical Technologist - one of the following: - Blood Banking (ASCP_BB) - Chemistry (ASCP_C) - Cytogenetics (CYGT) - Hematology (ASCP_H) - Microbiology (ASCP_M) - Molecular Biology (ASCP_MB) - Medical Lab Scientist (ASCP_MLS) - Medical Technologist (ASCP_MT or AMT_MT)
